If you can't tell, Kate was very excited to begin first grade yesterday.
She has a few friends in her class from last year but is just as excited to make new ones this year.
Her teacher is Ms. Herndon and according to Kate, "she is so sweet". I have also heard that she keeps the kids focused and engaged which pairs nicely with being "so sweet". We are all looking forward to a great year.

She looks so adorable! I love that scarf/headband in her hair. So stylin' Can't believe how early your school year starts. The kids here still have another couple of weeks.
Does she still do the 5 day doses of steroids once a month? She doesn't look like it. Izzy has kept some of her belly and face chub with the sporadic steroids. Anyway, I hope it's a great year of 1st grade for Kate :)
