Kate's clinic visit was same as usual except that I wasn't there today (at home with Jackson who has a fever). I'm pretty sure they'd frown on me bringing in a child with a fever! Her counts looked good with an ANC of 1500. Accoding to Jason, she received the IVIG, antibiotics and Vincristine without any problems so all in all, it was a great day!
She doesn't have to go back for treatment for another month either. Kate was asked to participate in the Neal Boortz radio telethon next Thursday so we'll back for that though, remember this? She had a lot of fun on the radio before and I suspect she'll ham it up again. You can listen online so when I more details I send them your way.

It's always great to hear about a successul clinic visit. Yeah Kate!
YEAH KATE! Sorry, Jackson...I hope you're feeling better. 1500...LOVE to hear those numbers. Thursdays will probably always bring me some apprehension from now on. I'm always thinking, "was today a clinic visit?"
Kate, great report!!! Jackson, sorry that you have a fever. It's always a downer to feel yucky. Get well soon so you can get back to school. I'm sure your teacher will be missing you and vice-versa.
1500 is so great! woo hoo.
can't wait to listen next Thursday
I am having Kate withdrawals. Seeing her in the hall is not enough! call me to babysit, cant wait to hear her next thursday!
Happy for Kate... awesome report... bummer about Jackson not feelin' so hot. Lucky for them, they have a good mama to take care of them. And I'm sure it's a relief to have to focus on someone other then Kate not feeling well... Thinking of you guys :)
Hooray for Kate! She is destined to be a star!
Was today (Sept. 11) Kate's clinic visit?
